Right now, in the dark;
– I might be
But, one thing is for sure;
Everything will come to The Light
– you’ll see!
I thought the one person I gave all my love
– I could trust
But, after all this time I realized I’d been put on a shelf
– to collect dust!
If I would’ve known many years ago that the person GOD said was my soulmate;
Who’s shown me nothing since but pain & hate
Too bad I had already decided to put all my eggs in one basket
Because it nearly put the final nail in my casket
Right now as I look back: it was just my strings being twirled.
I’ve been used & abused but, my son is and always will be my world.
